january (2019) fun

2019 started off with a fun nye night! we hosted our usual pj party with the "ball drop" happening around 9pm.
hit up the ice rink for some family time
dan took the big 3 to a blues game.
may's first game and she got a puck from brayden schenn during warmups.
he gained a number one fan in an instant. she is still highly obsessed with #10!
we visited our beloved deceased.
leaving some birthday wishes on what would have been my pop's 100th birthday!
a snow storm hit stl that dumped over 10" in a day. the entire city basically shut down. it was truly amazing...some forced family time was much needed and we took full advantage.
these two went head to head on the basketball court. i can't even remember the score of the game...but from those smiles it must have been a close one. this was lilly's first and only season of basketball. she quickly realized it wasn't her sport...but i'm glad she at least tried!
by the end of the month the mountains were calling...
so of course we had to answer.
we got annie all geared up for her first ski school experience.
we put all four in ski school and headed out for a few adult-only hours.
mary & austin came up the first day to ski with us.
it felt good to get back out there with my ski buddy.
we headed down to check on annie in action.
then we headed back up the mountain to catch up with the big girls.
they were doing awesome...especially may!!
we were finished in time for 3:00 cookies!
we also headed over to vail to check out their adventure ridge and meet up with our favorite ski patroller.
annie was still too little to do the tubing hill...so ryan took her for a snow mobile ride!
the other 3 couldn't get enough of the tubing hill.
all in all another amazing weekend in the mountains!
