12...and 13

well i have totally dropped the ball on my monthly may updates. since my last update you have turned 12...and 13 months!

you had a fabulous first birthday...as you can read all about here here

we went in for your 1 year check up right before christmas. as expected, dr sara said you are basically perfect in every way...50th percentile for both height & weight. you are weighing in at 20lbs 6oz. perfectly proportionate!

you are still an awesome sleeper. you are mainly doing one nap a day...but will still take 2 naps if we are home. you are in bed at night by 8pm. daddy puts you to bed and it's pretty much his favorite part of the day!

you are walking everywhere and picking up some major speed. you are now trying to run to keep up with your sisters. your obsession with the stairs has also taken a back seat. so much so that we don't even have the gates up anymore. you could really care less about them! i am totally ok with this :)

you are also talking up a storm...more than I ever remember you sisters talking at this age. it doesn't really surprise me though considering they are constantly talking to you. (their obsession with you has only grown the bigger you get.) the main words we can make out are: dada, mama, ba ba (bottle), wa wa (water) dog and baby.

you experienced your 2nd christmas. while you loved all the festivities, you were not a fan of mr claus...at all! this was as close as you would get to him at breakfast with santa!
