christmas

we are in a major post-christmas funk around here. so much so that when it started snowing the other day lilly and i listened to christmas music in the car. we just can't help ourselves....we love christmas so much in this house. even may cried when we took the tree down a few weeks ago.
january sucks.
to cheer us up a little we're going to take a look back at that beloved holiday and all the fun we had. settle in...i have a ton of pics to share.
we started the festivities on dec 23rd where santa made a special early visit to cessie's house...

after cessie's the big girls and i picked up dottie and mary and headed to the fox to catch wicked. ryan has been obsessed ever since. knows almost every song on the cd.
the following day was christmas eve. my absolute favorite night of the season! we attemped church...made it to communion and split. it was just way too crowded to try and keep a 12 month old contained. after mass we headed over to dottie's...

one of my new year's resolutions is to make my mom get in more pictures with her grandkids. we have found so many awesome ones of gma with us when we were these ages...i know my mom will be happy to have them.

it was such an awesome evening. once we got home and put out santa's cookies, the reindeer food and said our goodbye's to sarah the elf it was time for bed...and time for dan & i to get to work.
