are weather men ever right?

after a wicked storm last night we had another gorgeous day in stl. i really thought this entire week was going to be a wash with all the talk of rain but we had 2 great days in a row. we ventured outside again today but this time to Tilles park. (We are equal-opportunity park goers) as you can tell i get the majority of my pics while the girls are swinging because i spend the rest of the time chasing!

you would think running around a playground for a couple hours would wear a little girl out but after only a 2 hour nap (i know, i know i can't complain but that really is short for her) ry was up and ready to party. while we waited for lil to wake up we did a little "baking" and coloring.

the girls spent the evening with daddy while I headed to visit with the patterson's and meet baby grady for the 1st time. he is so stinkin' cute. it's amazing how quickly you forgot that newborn phase! it was great to see erin & gretch and visit with megan & ellie too!

the hauck girls are on their own this weekend. dan's leaving tomorrow for a weekend in montreal. this has been a dream of his to go see a canadiens game and we are so happy he is able to experience it this weekend. we hope him & scottie have a fabulous trip! the girls and i, on the other hand, have a busy weekend ahead of us. hope the weather men continue to be wrong for the st. patty's parade on sat!
