back update

it has been a month since my last back surgery. i went to the doctor today and am happy to report that all is well. i had an x-ray taken of my back this afternoon to make sure the new hardware i was given (aka 2 plates and 8 screws...that should be fun next time i go to the airport! ha) was doing what it was supposed to. the nurse said everything looked great and she was very happy to hear i am pain free! i go back in 6 weeks to get another x-ray. then i will start some physical therapy and get back to real exercise. until then it's still just walking for me. i am so happy spring is right around the corner so i can get out and walk with my girls. keep your fingers crossed for me that i continue to feel good. so happy to put this all behind me!
