s-a-t-u-r-d-a-y night!

with the girls having a slumber party over at ne ne & dow's...i was off to paint the town red. ok, so not really the town, just brentwood. it was a wonderful night which started with a couples shower for katie & nathan, which was really nice. after a few pinot grigios the party moved on to sports attic where i came to the realization that i had not been in a bar setting for a very long time...and i am totally ok with that. you know you are getting old when you walk into a bar and comment on how loud the karaoke is. it was really fun to catch up with everyone even though we spent the majority of the night talking about babies and blogs. hey, that is my life now! i really could have done without all the smoke and coming home smelling like an ash tray. when is every restaurant/bar going to go smoke-free?

i did not take any pictures but meg had her camera out so i'm afraid some may surface. yikes! i may not want to see them! all in all a fabulous night for a fabulous couple. cannot wait for their wedding :)
