i am sure many of you have already heard either through calls or texts or facebook...but we now have another little angel living in our house.

four girls.

i can hardly believe it.

let's go back to last week and tell this tale from the beginning shall we?

wednesday evening we dropped the girls off at my parent's to spend that night. i had to get one last shot of me with 3 kids. i posted this picture on instagram and got a lot of gender guesses. i would say it was pretty 50/50.

dan and i woke up literally at the crack of dawn to head to the hospital. this is about as pretty as it gets at 5:30am. one last shot of the belly.

at 8:06am on 5.15.14 our little annie was brought into this world...and my goodness did she make herself known. this one has a set of lungs on her!

daddy meeting his 4th daughter for the first time. this guy is just destined to be surrounded by women for the rest of his life. he's pretty excited about that!

i could relive this moment 100 times over. nothing better than laying your eyes on your perfect little baby for the first time. all the anxieties and fears just melt away.

here come the big sisters!

lil could hardly contain her excitement.

may still didn't quite realize what was going on. i'm not even sure she even noticed that i was holding a baby. all she said was "hi mama!" and "is that your phone" when she noticed the nurse taking video with my phone.

our entourage awaiting the news...

and their reaction!

i have to give my nurses some major props (that's one in the right corner taking video with my phone) they not only took wonderful pics of the delivery but went above and beyond taking pictures and videos of the announcements and all our visitors in the recovery room. mercy l&d nurses rock!

i just love this picture of the grandma's

the emotional aunts

also known as the paparazzi

i'm pretty sure lisa is asking "is it annie??" she was gunning for that name from day one!

the girls went out to lunch while i was being moved up to my room. you can bet they came right back that evening to soak in some more of their baby sister

may refused to hold annie that first day. she was still a little unsure about this whole baby sister thing.

i'm pretty sure he is calculating all the money he will spend on 4 weddings!

by friday may was much more interested in her baby sis

by saturday she was an old pro and wanted to hold her every chance she got.

we had some wonderful visitors come spend the weekend with us.

you don't get nearly as many with your 4th kid...but i can't really say i minded all that much. not that i don't love seeing all our friends but having a lot of quality mommy/annie time was just what we needed to start our days together.

and finally...home sweet home! as you can tell lil was just a little excited to have us home.

and there you have it. annie's birthday.

we love our little annie bananie to pieces. she is the perfect addition to our family.
