get comfy everyone...i have pictures to share.

a lot of pictures.

it's no secret that i have a slight obsession with pictures of my family. for the last few years i have had the uber talented susie vreeland snap shots of our family. every session leaves me speechless. she just has such a way with kids and makes the session fun...and it shows in her work. so it goes without saying that i was devastated when she told me over the winter that she was foregoing family sessions to focus on weddings and newborns. i honestly thought i was going to have to convince dan to go for number 5...

thankfully she reached out to me about a month ago with the best news ever. she was teaming up with her second shooter and bringing back the family sessions.

hallelujah!!

she asked if her and sherry could come by and take some pictures of our family to use as they launch their new biz together. i bet you can guess what my answer was....

these make my heart skip a beat every time i look at them. the father/daughter bond is strong in these parts.

lord help the mister, who comes between me and my sister...

i love that susie encourages me to get in pictures with my girls. i am always so hesitant but you can see in their faces that they don't care what i'm wearing or how my hair looks or if i've lost or gained weight...they are just happy to be close to me. i am learning to quiet my inner critic and stand proud with my girls because these pictures always turn out to be some of my favorites.

and then there are these...sight...this sweet old girl gets overlooked most days.

this lady is amazing and i am so very excited for her and sherry. together they will give families countless memories to last a lifetime. thank you so much for asking us to be a part of your new venture!!
