happy birthday gracie!

a special birthday shout-out to our cousin gracie! she turned 1 today and her mommy & daddy threw a wonderful party at their house. they even had a mini bounce house in the back-yard. the kids all had a ball bouncing...lilly especially loved it. she was having so much fun in there! i was flying solo at the pary because dan was home getting ready for his next business trip...so i wasn't able to snap too many pics. i am hoping some of the other party-goers (lisa) will post some pics on fb so i can steal them!

after only a 1 1/2 hour nap from miss ry (i swear the more energy she burns off during the day the shorter her naps are. it is beyond me) we took a family trip to the grocery store and spent some quality time with daddy before he leaves again. we are not big fans of all these business trips but we understand that it is part of his job and we couldn't be more proud of him and all the success he has had in his career so far. we'll miss you dan...we love you!
