holy heat wave
1:17 PMafter a lazy monday around the house, on tuesday we decided to venture out. however, the forecast was predicting the hottest day in a few years. (100+ degrees!)so what do you do when it's too hot to even sit by a pool? hit up the magic house of course! I think everyone in the bi-state area had the same idea. it was packed. this was the first time my girls had been to the magic house and the first time for me since the huge new addition. we are definitely going to have to go back once school starts so we can really explore without so many people!
they have a huge water table in the toddler area...and these lovely aprons to keep the kids from getting drenched.
miss molls is still healing from her trechorous weekend...she can really pull off the "tough-chick" look :)
our little scout is currently obsessed with slides. we have a little mini one that is taking up space in our guest room for the moment. she found it a couple weeks ago and spends endless amounts of time climbing up and sliding down. she was in heaven when she found this little guy at the magic house.
ry took a load off and let brendy drive the boat
our little mechanic
lil, trying to build a lego tower taller than herself. such ambition...
brendy & ry found the "big kid" slide in the toddler area and probably went up and down it 25 times.
of course our slide enthusiast had to check things out...
what a fun morning for the kiddos...lisa and i, on the other hand were spent. we ended the outing with a trip to dottie's to indulge in something cold on such a hot, hot day. when we got home, the girls each took 3 hour naps...well worth the chaos :)

Oh I love that place!! I loved that little tiny house and the tunnels that you could climb through and the mirror maze in the front. Maybe Pat will take me there?
ReplyDeleteseriously...you need to go. i totally remember everything there. however, you might need to take out a small loan b/c it is so darn expensive. $10/person...just redic.
ReplyDeleteThat is insane! I feel like grandparents complaining about the price of stuff.
