the mighty meramec
7:17 PMover the weekend we celebrated our good friend chris' 30th birthday. how, do you ring in the next decade of your life? well for chris that means a 10 mile float down the mighty meramec river. the boys (chris, andrew & dan) headed down to camp friday night while us girls stayed back and headed down bright early saturday morning.
while dan was away we hosted an impromtu girls night with our best bud ellie. megan & i made jello shots while the girls enjoyed some pizza and playing. ryan made it a point to bring almost every toy we owned over to where ellie was sitting. she's such a good friend! we tried to get a shot of the girlies...
we made it down the river successfully...there are pictures around from the float but i pray they do not surface. these are from when we got back to the campsite. all in all a great weekend and i think chris had a great birthday! however, i am fine if we don't do another float for a few years :)
