daddy's girls

my girls were straight up pampered last weekend. it kicked off last saturday with the first grade spa party. every year at fall fest we can buy into grade-level parties. the moms who volunteer to head this party choose the theme. this year they decided to pair it with the father/daughter dance at the lodge and treat the girls to a little pre-dance pampering.

they all met at ryan's friends house for a little hair, a little nails and lot of dancing!

the party was beyond adorable. from the hostess, to the extremely excited little girls, to the company who came in to pamper them...everything was absolutely perfect.

ryan was pretty amazed by the curlers. for a girl with naturally curly hair she has never even seen a curler...let alone put one in her hair! she was thrilled.

while ryan was at her party i snuck away with lil and may for a little pampering of their own at sweet and sassy. my girls absolutely adore this place...but honestly, what little girl wouldn't?!?

this little pistol could have cared less about her pretty hair do. she wanted jelly beans and a sucker and a toy and more jelly beans.

after s&s we met daddy (and annie) at the lodge for the big dance. since i was already there...i just had to stay and wait for ryan to arrive!

(also i can't wait for this night in a few years when he gets to take all 4! perks of having all girls)

man i wish i could have been at this dance though. dan said may was a little clingy at the dance...ok a lot clingy. she may have been a year too young, or maybe it was the lack of a nap that day, but i'm sure next year she'll be all over that dance floor! the big girls, however, had an absolute blast.

the fun didn't end there. on sunday ryan's good friend, maisey, asked her out to lunch at american girl to celebrate their birthdays. american girl, people! it's seriously little girl heaven.
