mah - 9 months

well here we are...nine whole months. you have now officially been out for as long as you were in!

it's been a pretty low key month around here. no big events, no big trips, just life as usual...which is the best way live. you have been stuck inside a lot because of freezing temps and a cold that just won't go away. lots of sleeping it off going on.

but you're still all smiles

we visited dr sara last week and as usual you are perfect. you weighed in at 19lbs 1oz which puts you at the 50th percentile! i thought maybe this was a new hauck record...but i looked back at may's 9 month update and although she was slightly smaller, she was also in the 50th! you are coming in around the 20th percentile for height so i'm still considering you a little hauck peanut.

besides those two adorable little choppers up there... you have been working hard on other tricks to impress your fans. you've mastered "so big", clapping...

you even surprised yourself with this one. it was only for about 10 seconds but we all yelled and clapped and scared the you know what out of you! you haven't been doing it a lot but when you do we erupt. it's going to be so fun to watch your sisters react when you finally do start standing and taking steps. they are going to lose it!

you'll notice your little ponytail sticking straight up in that last pic... your sisters love it when i put your hair up. you aren't really a fan of me messing with your hair...or you face in general. (wiping your nose...forget about it.) everyone is always surprised to see your straight hair when all your sisters are curly. however, this is exactly how ryan's hair started out...so i'm still holding out hope for curls. plus, when your hair is wet those baby curls pop up! i think we'll know for sure once we get out of this cold+hat=static season.

speaking of baths...you still really really love them!

i really really love those chubby baby legs and that dimpled tush.

when it comes to food you are pretty much eating anything and everything. the only thing you really don't like so far is eggs. you still get 3-4 bottles a day.

you are also sleeping like a rock star. you take two great naps during the day...we're talking 2 hours each...and are asleep by 7:30pm. you usually wake up around 6 or 6:30 which works out perfectly during the week since we have to take the girls to school by 7:40. however, i'd love it if we extended that wake up call on the weekends just a tad. i know, i know, i shouldn't really complain.

your sisters are still thoroughly obsessed with you. i was able to bring you along to lunch for catholic schools week and you were the hit among all the first grade girls!

a little stomach bug has brought you down a tad but you are still looking as sweet as ever...and i love the extra snuggles you have been giving me.

a few more weeks and you'll be rocking this bonnet on the beach! i personally cannot wait for some warmer weather so i can see those chubby legs in some cute bubbles.
