mah - 10 and 11
9:15 PM
ok so i have totally dropped the ball. since my last update annie has blown right passed her 10th and 11th months of life. how on earth can that be?!?
something isn't right. there is no way i can be planning her first birthday pictures and party already! isn't she still that tiny little baby fresh out of the hospital?? it feels like she should be. it feels like time has been on fast forward the last 11 months and i can hardly keep up. it feels like i am missing it...but in reality i know i'm not. i'm right in the thick of it every single day.
however it is nice to take some time, while you're in it, to really stop and soak it all in.
which is why i do these little updates. it makes me slow down and think about you. to look at pictures of you and realize just how much you have grown in one month...or two ;)
we don't go back to the doctor until your 12month visit so i don't have official stats. however, if i had to guess i would say you're hovering around 20lbs. perfectly plump in every way. i cannot get enough of those thighs. they are deliciously chubby. so chubby, in fact, you have developed a little rash in the fat rolls. own it sister, they are only cute for so long!
during the last two months we really did some fun stuff.
we spent a week at the beach...
where i made you wear your adorable bonnet as much as i possibly could.
we also celebrated easter, which you loved!

we've been spending lots of time outside in the beautiful spring weather
in the sleeping department you are, thankfully, back on track. we hit a little speed bump during our trip to florida. you were up every night and very early in the morning...but i'm happy to say that it only took a day or two at home, in your own bed, for you to get back to your 12 hour schedule.
you are transitioning to one long nap in the afternoons...usually you will go a solid 2-3 hours. however, you will still sneak in a little car nap in the mornings to get you through.
when it comes to food you are eating everything and anything. there isn't much you don't like...i think you're all time favorite is blueberries. you could easily eat an entire carton if i let you.
when it comes to bottles you are still taking about 3-4, 6oz bottles a day. you really love your bottles. i need to start breaking you of that habit soon. this week i have introduced whole milk and you downed it. i'm so happy...i can see the light at the end of the formula tunnel!
you've also been busy working on some new skills. in the last two months you have gone from cruising with your little walkers...
to standing on your own...
to straight up walking all over the house!
personally i love new walkers. you are so cute and wobbly...however, the best part of you walking is watching your sisters erupt with cheers every step you take. you clapping for yourself is pretty great, too.
life with you is full of smiles and giggles. you are truly the happiest little baby and greet everyone you see with a big smile and a wave.
we love you little girl and we cannot wait to celebrate you all next month!!!
