easter '15

it's hard to believe easter has already come and gone.
i love this holiday. it's the holiday of hope. it means new life and new beginnings. it means we can say goodbye to the cold and dull of winter and hello to the warm and green of spring. it means longer days and worn out kids from playing outside all afternoon.
you can't help but love spring!
we kicked off the holy week with a little egg dying.
the memories made make up for the mess.
(at least that's what i tell myself)
fast forward to easter sunday.
my little easter eggs looked as cute as can be all dolled up for mass.
their coordinating dad made the picture that much better!
after mass...we came home to veg for a bit before heading to bellerive for hunt number one of the day.
may was feeling a little uneasy about the bunny...
but annie loved him!
first official egg hunt
then it was on to my parents for hunt number two...
as much as we love bellerive, this egg hunt wins...hands down.
hard boiled vs. candy filled.
no contest.
it was such a wonderful day spent with the ones we love the most.
