stats:

we go to the dr on tuesday but i am pretty sure the results will be the same as they have been for the last 2 years...teeny tiny. the girl has never been over the 10th percentile in her life. she is petite in every sense of the word. i think she has been blessed with her daddy's metabolism which she will be grateful for later on in life! for now she is our little peanut and we love that about her. if i had to guess i would say 21 lbs, 31 inches...we'll see how close i am on tuesday.

vocabulary:

she is talking up a storm. i can't really even list the words she is saying because she says them all. if you say it, she'll repeat it...or at least try. she is putting 2-3 word sentances together and most people can understand her most of the time. very rarely does she need a translator...but if she does...her big sis is always close by to let you know what she's trying to say.

right now lilly likes:

her mommy, her daddy, her big sister (most of the time), delaney, her mommy, her thumb, toy story (1-3), dora, boots, her mommy, running, jumping, climbing, her mommy, her cousins, giving her little bro/sis rasberries, bubble baths, her mommy, saying "cheese" for the camera, reading goodnight books in ryan's bed, the movie "up", her mommy, anything sweet, balloons, the swimming pool, trying on shoes..especially mine, her mommy...

right now lilly dislikes:

when her mommy leaves and sharing her toys at the pool (we're working on that one).

really, that's about it.

the girl doesn't dislike much...but if you get in the way of her and her mommy, watch out. she is a mama's girl through and through. i like to call her my "stage 5 clinger." now, if she doesn't see me leave then i'm in the clear, but if she watches me leave a room, cover your ears. very rarely am i able to hold baby jack without lilly coming right over to let me know she is not happy about it. lord help us all when this baby arrives! i just keep telling myself, soon enough she is going to realize that i am not that cool and will want nothing to do with me...so i better soak in the clingy-ness while i can.

i mean really...how could you not cuddle with her when she gives you that face?

things she does that i want to remember:

she says "mmmmop" when she gives you a kiss. she almost always says please and thank you...and her new favorite is you're welcome. she has to have 1 book, some water and her scout dog when she goes to bed. she calls all the princesses "mermaid." she calls brendy "de-de" and almost always refers to molly as "molly moo" (occasionally she will mix things up & call her moose) she is so fast for someone her size, i swear if her legs were longer she would outrun me. (yet another thing she inherited from her father...did i mention she is dan's mini-me?) she, like her big sis, is convinced the new baby is a girl and that we will call her baby.

there isn't any other kid quite like our lilly bear. your daddy and i look forward to watching you grow and are so thankful we get to be part of the journey. in the words of one of your favorites...we love you lilly, to infinity and beyond!
