2 months

since may is our first baby to be born after the blog was introduced i am going to try my very best to keep up with her monthly stats and activities. i cannot promise I will be on time every month (since i've already missed her first month and am 4 days behind her 2nd) but i am going to try my very best so she will have this to look back on when she's older.

so here you go miss may. just look at your sweet face...

at 2 months you are such a sweet little thing. we haven't been to the doctor since you were 6 weeks where you were 8lbs 9oz...but i can tell you are growing just as you should be. i mean, just look at those cheeks up there!


you are smiling a lot and love to "talk". you are way more vocal then i remember your big sisters being at this age. i guess you are just making sure we know you may be small but you will not be ignored!


you are sleeping ok at night. you start out in your little bed (in mommy & daddy's room) around 9:30 and sleep about 4 hours. that brings us to right in the middle of the night when i am dead tired. which leads me to bring you in bed with us. i am trying to break this habit because you sleep so much better in your bed. when you're in bed with me we toss & turn and you just seem to think you can snack all night long. i've been staging an intervention with myself this weekend...it's not going so great!


as for naps...you mainly take yours in the car. since we are back to our normal daily routine of running your big sisters around you take full advantage of the gentle hum of the car & zonk out nearly every trip. naps at home are few & far between. there are not many places in the house where your sisters can't get you and wake you up!


speaking of your big sisters...they still love to be around you at all times. if lilly sees that you are not in my arms she immediately asks "where's my baby?" its taken two months, but they are finally learning that if they back up a little, instead of being right in your face, that you can actually see them now and will smile & coo at them. it's one of my favorite things to watch...the three of you!


contrary to the picture above, you actually like your baths. you just aren't a huge fan of me taking pictures of that crazy hair afterwards! if you are not a curly top like your sisters i will be shocked because the hair you have is so curly already...and still very blonde.
