afternoon treat
2:04 PMyesterday after naps we met up with my fellow blogging mommies (and ruggeri) for a little afternoon treat at dottie's. we decided to go late afternoon because i knew it wouldn't be too crowded...and with 6 adults and 8 kids (under 3, might i add) we needed pretty much the entire store. you're probably thinking, "you guys are crazy" but actually it really wasn't all that chaotic. the kids enjoyed their ice cream while us moms were able to chat a little. it was our first time meeting some of the kiddos so we were excited to make some new friends!
lucy is 6 months, lilly is 14 months. besides the whole standing & walking thing there really isn't much difference in size between these two!
then you add caroline to the mix and she knocked both the girls out of the water with her stats!
lilly had to remind them...you two may be as big (or bigger) than me...but i can walk! :)
grady showed up and my girls were fascinated. maybe they need a little brother?!?

what a fun afternoon...can't wait to get together with these mommies again soon :)

Brooke was a total party pooper...she totaly didn't bring her 'A' game. Next time for sure!! Let's plan another playdate soon!! And Ruggeri will come too :)

What a great time! I can't believe Lilly and Lucy are 6 months different but weigh the same! I must be feeding her too many peaches, or maybe Lilly isn't eating enough ice cream? I'll be back in October and we'll do it again. We love our ice cream anytime of the year!
