7 months

hi! i'm 7 months old!

ok, ok...i know. the month is nearly half over and i have not updated you all on just how big our baby girl has gotten. a lot of firsts have happened in the last 30 days...

first plane ride. you are a wonderful flyer, just like your sisters. you basically looked around at all the people, had some of your bottle and took a little nap. Both ways. doesn't get much easier than that.



first time at the beach. you were fascinated by the sand. tried to taste it one time and learned your lesson.



first nap at the beach. you took great naps in florida. nighttime was a different story. you slept ok...were up a couple times every night. it's what i have come to expect on vacations. none of my girls sleep well when they are not on their own beds. you are back on track now that we are home. Sleeping from 7:30/8-5:30-6, at which point I give you a bottle and you are back to sleep until about 7:30/8 when your sisters usually wake you up.


first time you finally made your move. you are crawling like a champ now...and getting rather fast! it is a combination of regular crawling and a bear crawl up on your feet. Pretty funny to watch. you have noticed the stairs but haven't tried to venture up them yet...thank goodness.



first time you figured out how to feed yourself. one of my favorite firsts! your favorite things to pick up are cheerios, puffs, oranges and waffle pieces. last night we had breakfast sandwiches for dinner and you went to town on the biscuits. it seems as though the baby food stage is officially over. you only want to real stuff now. can't say that I blame you there.



first bath in the big tub without your little blue tub. this is especially fun for your sisters.


first time riding up front at target. this makes our shopping experiences that much easier. especially when I have all three with me.



first shoulder ride. your sisters are big fans of daddy's shoulder rides...i'm sure you will be too.


It's has been an all around wonderful month. you have grown so much in just 30 days.
all of your firsts are firsts for me as well and i just love experiencing it all over again with you.

4th of july. i took just you to the grocery store with me that day. you were in your little red, white & blue dress and i am not exaggerating when i say i had 4 people stop to say how cute you were. before we even were out of the produce section! see...it's not just me who thinks you are a pretty girl.


as always i cannot wait to see what the next month brings.

however, this is the stage i fear the most. the stage where you are so irresistibly adorable that all i can think about is the one thing i shouldn't be thinking about...i want more babies!

we all saw what happened when ryan was this age! it's a good thing i have a dramatic four year old and a clingy three year old to keep my newborn cravings in check!
