winter wonderwalk

the holidays are officially upon us folks...and i could not be more excited! i feel like we are kind of getting a late start this year. maybe it's just me but i feel like last year we were already a good two weeks into listening to christmas music by this point. the local radio stations just started playing them this week. what is up with that? 

i realize there are people out there who do not like to celebrate the holidays too early...granted i don't really know too many personally because i would have to de-friend them until jan 1...but i'm sure they are out there. i just like to soak up all that the season has to offer for as long as i possibly can. 

the first of the many many holiday posts belongs to the fabulous winter wonderwalk at tiles park. it is one of my favorite events of the season. we have attending the walk for 3 years now...but have been driving through the park for as long as i can remember. it is an absolute must during the christmas season. the weather was absolutely perfect last night. just chilly enough to get your in the spirit!

the curtain of lights was my favorite by far. this picture does not do it justice.

after we walked through the lights we ordered a sandwich from the gourmet grilled cheese food truck and camped out on the curb for dinner

it was another wonderful evening at tilles! we are so excited that the lights are officially open. i am going to go ahead and predict we will drive through them at least 5 times this season....
