11 months

better late than never, right?? two weeks ago my baby entered her last month of infancy. how an entire year can go by in the blink of an eye is something i will never understand.

as much as i want time to slow down...i do feel as if i am soaking you up at this age. i am sure I have said this in many other posts but this is one of my favorite stages. your hilarious personality is shining through everyday. you continue to be one of the happiest babies i have ever met. your smile is constantly on display for everyone to see...and believe me they notice! a complete stranger stopped me at hobby lobby the other day and talked about how gorgeous you were for a good 5 mins. you, of course smiled and waved to him as if you were in a parade. (yes, I said him...this was a man who stopped me!)



you are now walking all the time! i absolutely love to see those chubby legs of yours on the move. you are getting pretty fast too!



you are still a rock star in the sleep department. you take two 1.5-2 hour naps a day...when we are home in the mornings. if we are not home in the morning you will happily stay awake until about 1:30 and sleep for 3+ hours in the afternoon. at night you are asleep by 8pm and wake up around 7:30am. you are an absolute breeze to put to bed. you drink a little milk, we sing a lullaby then i put you in bed with your binky and that's it.



every once and awhile...when i know you are really tired (and the girls will give me 10 mins) i will rock you to sleep and and soak it in as you melt into my arms. i cherish those moments!



you are an eating machine! still not a single tooth in that mouth of yours...but that has not stopped you from trying everything! there still isn't anything that you have turned away. you love it all! especially feeding it to yourself...



i am shocked that it took you this long...but this week you finally found the stairs.


you made it up the entire flight the other day...with your sisters and i right behind you. since then you seem to be totally content to climb up one or two and just sit there. i'm ok with this...



your hair is growing like a weed these days.


you have easily beat your sisters in this department. neither of them had this much hair at 11 months. ryan was close but hers didn't start to curl until 15 months. I wonder if you will have hair just like ry's? I just hope you are better about letting me comb through it if you do!



You had your first halloween this month and you loved every second of it. you didn't even mind the costume. you made one adorable bumblebee!



you also helped me celebrate my birthday...having you three made it one of the best ones yet!



as you can see i am still pretty obsessed with taking pictures of you...















it has been an amazing month. for once i am not really looking forward to next month...only because i want you to stay this perfect little baby forever! however, i know that cannot happen so i will embrace your birthday and make it a fabulous event!!
