halloween.

it's easy to see that this holiday is high on my list of favorites. i love everything about it. the decorations, the costumes and of course...the parties!

our hauck halloween party this year was an absolute blast.

every year it gets bigger and bigger and bigger! this year i felt i needed to pump the breaks a bit. now that we are fully involved in school the guest list has the potential to be enormous. this year i dialed it down just a tad to try and control my sanity! 

the costumes are always my favorite part. i was on the fence this year about what we will be. that all changed with our labor day trip to chicago. may brought home the new american girl doll who just happens to be a "mary" and also a 50's girl. her poodle skirt sealed the deal for all four. every year that i am able to convince them to participate in a group costume is a huge win for me. 

i love the fact that dan goes along with all my crazy ideas. he doesn't even bat an eye. he knows how much the girls love it and i love him for that. 

as always...the bounce house was the biggest hit of the party.

hurricane annie strikes again. 

i am thankful for oxyclean and the ability to get this shirt clean the next day.
