fall fun

fall is finally here and i couldn't be happier.

don't get me wrong, i love summer. i love having the kids home. i love not setting my alarm in the mornings. i love not having to cart my kids to all their after-school activities. what i don't love is the heat. i don't love the humidity. i don't love sweating. i certainly don't love wearing a swimsuit.

so fall, i welcome you and your chilly weather with open arms!

i also love all the activities you bring with you. we do a lot of fun things in the fall.

starting with the kirkwood farmers market with just my little gals one morning.

chilly nights have given us the chance to break out our new lilly sweaters. these were lilly sale purchases and i love them so so much. if you ever get a chance to shop a lilly sale, you need to jump on it!

we hit up the pumpkin patch one sunday...along with half of st. louis.

as much as i tried to talk them out of it...they convinced me to go through the corn maze. i would say i am a pretty anxiety-free person...but mazes freak me the "beep" out. i like to know exactly how to get out of places.

thankfully this was a short maze and lilly did a great job of leading the way.

getting a picture of the four of them isn't easy these days.

at least these two have gotten the hint. just smile for mom and she'll leave you alone!

we also cheered on our playoff cardinals...afterall, baseball in october is the very best kind. unfortunately we didn't make it past the nlds. i am happy for chicago. the cubs are good this year...i hope they go far.
