fall fun

well ladies and gentlemen...fall is officially here.
however, it still felt like summer today and i could cry. if you know me you know i can only stand temps above 85 for so long before i crack. today, after a morning at the pumpkin patch, i was very close to cracking.
it reminded me of the day we went apple picking back in september. it was equally as hot and i was equally as annoyed.
what's is going to take for a gal to get get some cooler temps around here?!?
anyway, back to the apples...every year the girls are off school the last friday in september. we have made this our official apple picking day for the last four years. it's always such a fun morning with our pals.

from apples to pumpkins! same temps, different crew.
even in the heat we are still getting into the halloween spirit.
getting hot...and hungry...and tired
the forecast for this week is saying highs in the 60s...please lord let it be right. we have big plans and need some good ol' fashioned fall weather!!
