good grief i am not fulfilling my resolution to keep up with this blog!

darn it.

ok, now that it's the middle of february...let's finally wrap up all that happened in december.

one of our absolute favorite nights of the year took place on the absolute coldest night of the year. i'm not just talking cold...i'm talking bone chilling cold. i'm talking high of 6. that's single digits, people!! i know for people who live in like, say, minnesota this isn't that big of a deal. however, for us in the midwest single digits is just not acceptable.

never the less...we layered up and headed to the rink because it was hauck holiday skate night and the party must go on!!! huge shout out to everyone who braved the frigid temps to join us. it was easily our smallest crowd to date...trust me, we get it!...but we still had a great group come out to play.

this one has been practicing her skating skills since this event. no doubt next year we will have 3/4 skating on their own. i'm thinking maybe we'll throw annie in some lessons to make it 4/4!
