down on the farm

this school year we have been blessed with two "sort of" spring breaks. the girls had a little mini break last week...so we took advantage and got the heck out of dodge. we let the girls play hooky for a couple extra days and headed west to visit uncle scott and margaret on the ranch. this was our first time visiting since they moved there and the girls are over the moon excited to see all the animals...especially bill!
the girls hopped out of the car and ran right out to see the piggies!
then on to see the sheepies...
girls were so excited to go out and feed the animals the next morning with their uncle scott!
after feeding time we took a little adventure to mesa verde to see the amazing cliff dwellings.
i actually remembered my good camera and brought it along to practice. i recently took a photog class and am trying to get better about using what i learned to capture life's fun events.

these two are the best of friends!
