hauck family vacay - take two

the second week of our vacation started much like all the other days. we gave the girls the choice to hit the pool or the beach first. pool always wins.
the wind took us and our kites to the beach for the afternoon.
we met a little friend. the girls named her sandy, the sea turtle.
that evening we hit up our favorite italian restaurant while we waited for our guests late-night arrival.
did a little (or a lot of) crab hunting!
then the next morning it was straight to the beach with my mom and dad in tow! the girls were sooo happy to have them with us for the 2nd week of our trip.

the next day brought much of the same...
the ocean was so calm and clear and these girls couldn't get enough of it.
they rode the waves all day.
while the little girls went to the pool, we took the big two on a little parasailing adventure.
since dan went last year, we made my dad go this year!
ready for dinner at lulu's
fourth of july!
nothing beats a holiday at the beach...
we had to treat dow to a little waffle house!

sad tears because she isn't quite old enough for the extended stay vacation. dan, annie and i were headed to the airport but the big 3 were staying with dottie for 4 more days of sun and sand.
lucky girls!!
sad to say goodbye to your sisters...but she was excited when she realized she was going to have mom and dad all to herself for a few days!
