first day of school

the start of school was truly a welcomed sight for this stay at home mom. 

i would love to say that i enjoyed every minute of having my girls home all summer...but that would be a bold face lie. i loved having them home and all the adventures we went on, but i did not love their constant need for entertainment or their constant bickering. i know they are sisters and that just comes with the territory, but holy moly did they fight a lot. 

however this little sign showed up in our yard and i knew peace and quiet was right around the corner! 

all three big girls were so happy with their class assignments this year. 

visit day was so fun for them!

then off they were.

4th grade!

and ladies and gents...let me introduce you to the brand new kindergartener!!

this one wasn't too pleased that she had to wait a few more weeks for her first day.

then it was off to meet their entourage for may's first official send off!

having her best friend by her side made the morning sooo easy!

 after three agonizing weeks...it was finally this chick's turn!

visit day was up first...

they were just a tad excited for their baby sis.

having all four in the same school is so fun...especially dropping them all off by 7:45am three days a week!!!!

i'd say everyone is thoroughly enjoying the school year so far.
