fall fun

lil started her first season of volleyball. 

man, i forgot how much i love that sport.

ballet is in full swing for 3 out of 4 gals in this house.

this is annie's first year of dance and she couldn't be more excited about it. 

nothing better than a friday morning dance class!

the girls always have the the friday before fall fest off school...and i always drag my friends to pick apples...and it's always 1000 degrees. 

this year we opted for eckerts in milstadt as opposed to our usual trip to belleville. so many more activities for the kids to do at milstadt...and since it was so darn hot we had the place basically to ourselves.

we then came home and made an apple pie.

so martha stewart of us. 

the next day was fall fest. 

again, it was 1000 degrees...but on the blacktop it felt more like 5000. 

the kids didn't care one bit.

we decked our halloween halls

had a few nights of s'mores by the fire.

awaited the arrival of our new best pal

(baby emma we love you so!) 

and no fall is complete without multiple trips to the pumpkin patch(es)...

first up was may's field trip.

(took me a full hour to convince her that she would love the zipline....she did)

then we met colleen for an afternoon of fun...

and finally...all four at the kirkwood farmers market.

it was another fabulous fall full of fun activities...
