once upon a time...

a girl lived out her dream to play the lead in a musical in front of hundreds of people!

this was her 8th gcpa MainStage show but her very first playing the lead. she had about 2 months to prepare pages and pages and pages of dialogue. she rehearsed multiple times a week for hours at a time.

it all came down to one weekend...4 shows...and she knocked it out of the park!

the pics uploaded from end-start...this was obviously the last song of the show, but it was amazing!

my favorite song of the entire show...quiet. it was the song she had to learn to audition for the show. it's a hard song to sing but she belted it out beautifully!

the stories were my favorite as well. four different stories that ryan had to memorize and time with the projections that were shown behind her. she worked so very hard on these.

sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty...

fun fact...ryan's very first play with gcpa was annie warlocks, where this gal right here was the lead. fast forward 5 years and she now plays ryan's mother!

the weekend was incredible from start to finish. the amount of friends and family who came to see ryan was truly amazing. we are forever grateful for their support!
