mr & mrs

after a quick run through at the church we all headed over to j.bucks downtown for the rehearsal dinner. the weather gods were smiling down on amy and john this weekend. it was an absolutely gorgeous evening on the rooftop. the cardinals were playing (they actually won) so we had some fireworks to cap off the evening. we liked to think they were for amy and john ;)

saturday began with a quick coffee stop before heading to spend the day at the ritz. we had all day to hang out in a swanky hotel, get our hair and make up done and enjoy some grown-up girl time...with no kids! it was like a mini-vacation for megan and i.

nothing like a mimosa to take the edge off!

finally it was time for amy to finalize her transformation into bride. she looked breathtaking in her gown...and the pockets were a perfect "amy" touch! at last it was time to get this show on the road!

let's get these two married already!

with amy & john officially husband and wife, it was time to party! and boy did we ever! the reception was an absolute blast. the only downfall was that my camera decided it had had enough so i wasn't able to get any pictures. they probably wouldn't have been any good anyway, i was on the dancefloor for 90 % of the evening. the rest of the time i was over at the unbelievable photo booth taking goofy pictures! as megan said, those are a blog entry all in themselves. hilarious!
