week in review

it was back to business as usual this week. now that ry & brendy are in school two days a week we don't get to see our partners in crime nearly as much. however, after the first successful week of school we met at dottie's for a little treat! we are a huge fan of dottie's new "lil" cones. (named after you know who!) they are the perfect size for the kiddos!

 

on friday night we packed up all the kids for a quick dinner at grassi's and a little football fun. we are going through withdrawl now that uncle scottie has moved on to college! desmet played chaminade so we thought there was no better game to catch. the kids had a ball running around the track and staying up late!

saturday night we had a little impromtu bbq over at pa's house. the weather was just too nice to stay inside and since grilling isn't really an option at our house just yet, we took advantage of his grill and backyard!

this morning we woke up and fall had officially descended on the lou. there was a bit of a chill in the air and even though it was a cloudy, dreary day we just had to get outside. this is by far my favorite season. there is nothing better than a crisp breeze after sweating through another st. louis summer. today we decided to take a stroll through the "neigh neigh" park. since the playground was pretty wet from last night's rain we opted to do some exploring instead.

ry & daddy were the leaders and every few minutes ry would say "freeze! give me a kiss" it's pretty hard to resist orders like that :)
