an apple a day....

last week we headed east to enjoy one of my favorite fall activities. falling a very close second to the pumpkin patch visits...is apple picking at eckert's. those crisp, ripe apples just taste like fall. one bite and i swear i am transported right back to my childhood and apple picking with my gma & pop. last year we introduced ali to the wonders of apple picking (poor 4th child was so neglected as a youngster) and she was instantly hooked. this year we didn't dare make a trip out there without her. not to mention having 3 adults on 5 kids is so much nicer than 2 on 5. we decided to hit up the belleville location and it did not disappoint.

another great visit to eckerts. lilly has mentioned at least once a day that she wants to go back...so we may be dragging daddy back to get some more apples next weekend. maybe we'll hit up the milstadt local next time?
