halloween...take 2

last friday ryan had her class halloween party at school. the kids were able to dress up and all the parents were invited to come watch them parade around the parking lot. ry had been talking about it all week. what her friends were going to be, what snacks they were going to have...she couldn't wait. she was extra excited when she saw that her daddy was going to be at her school to watch her parade too! what a morning for our little dorothy.

lilly only goes to school on wednesdays...so she was just along for the fun!

that afternoon the fun continued when we headed up to the first annual trick or treating event up at tubular. one of the many perks of having a husband who is the president of a company is that you can suggest fun events like this...and he can make it happen. he keeps trying to take credit for this, but it was all me. (ok, so i may have gotten the idea from my brother-in-law's office but i'm definitely not giving dan all the credit!) judging from all the kids up there...and all the decorated offices...i think it was a huge hit! the girls love going to visit daddy at work, so when you add costumes and candy to the mix it makes for a fabulous afternoon.
