oh christmas tree...
12:28 PMok, here we go...
the day after may's birthday we loaded the girls up, met at the boyle's house and headed into the country to cut down our christmas tree. i believe this is our 5th year upholding this new tradition. my family has always had a real tree...but one that came from the church tree lot. dan and i upped the anty a little with our own family by cutting our tree down. it is such a wonderful experience. the only down-side is that we don't get that fabulous christmas tree smell. unfortunately those trees don't grow in missouri (boo!) but not to worry. it's nothing a good candle can't fix in my book.
