thanksgiving

i realize that i am totally out of order here. thanksgiving came before may's birthday in real life...however, in blog life it came after. that's just how i roll these days. a little scatterbrained and out of order.

anyway back in november we gave thanks for a whole lot this year...but especially for our health and happiness and for our kids health and happiness and for our family's health and happiness...which in turn makes us the happiest of all. it's a lovely happy little web we spin.

we started the day with a little road trip out to david and jill's farm. we absolutely love going out to the farm. it's like having a petting zoo all to ourselves. horses, donkeys, chickens...the kids just love it.

then it was back up to the house to play a little duck duck goose before heading onto our next party

after some quick car naps we arrived at my parent's for dinner. dan and i usually host thanksgiving but we allowed my mom to have it this year since we were planning our big party for may the following weekend. next year i plan to take thanksgiving back. i really missed having everyone over.
