yes, we made cookies

i was looking through my pictures the other day...gearing up for ryan's birthday...and i came across the pictures from our cookie party. i cannot even believe that i forgot to do a post about one of my favorite holiday gatherings! what have i been doing the last 2 months?!?

anyway, yes, way back in december we made cookies....and it was fun!

before we started baking we made a very solid attempt at a group (kid) picture...

it did not go well

ellie hates me

finally we gave up and let them decorate cookies

may kept the babies entertained for us

ellie was so excited to have her aunt cece in town for the cookie party

amy's niece and nephew also joined in on the fun this year

this is katie...she is 6...we were all envious of her focus on decorating and lack of tantrums. 

i want a 6 year old.

the wessel girls. i am so sad i did not get a pic of the callahan girls or the sciales girls. 

next year...next year.

we had such a fabulous morning and actually had some delicious cookies to show for it at the end of the day. santa thoroughly enjoyed them!!
