19 months (ok almost 20)

man alive i have become such a slacker on blog. please accept my apologies. i am just enjoying our summer too much!

i had every intention of doing a post on may at 18 months...then she turned 19 months...and now she is only one week away from 20 months. ai yi yi.

*sidenote...does anyone else stop saying months once their child hits 20 months? for some reason i do. i feel weird saying 20 months or 21 or 22 months. once we get this close to 2 i just start saying "she'll be 2 in december" i know it's weird but for me 18 months really marks the toddler phase. she's no longer a baby (sniff, sniff) so i no longer feel it's right to say her age in months. not a baby anymore. sigh. *

may, you have changed so much since my last update. you had your last check up at 18 months. you weighed in at 23lbs. just about the 40th percentile. keeping in line with what has become a hauck tradition of never getting over the 50th percentile.

in the sleep department you are still a rock star. you are just like your mama when it comes to sleeping. you love it. you sleep 12 hours at night and at least a 3 hour nap every afternoon.

you are in love with your "bee bee" also know as binky. you aren't totally dependent on it during the day but definitely when you sleep. you also still love your "ba ba" this habit needs to be broken. you haven't had one today so maybe this is day one of operation-lose-the-bottle?!?

it doesn't happen often but every once in awhile when you don't get your way we see this...

however, the majority of the time you are as easy going as they come. you have a very go-with-the-flow, silly nature and i just love that. makes mommy's job that much easier

your sisters are still overly obsessed with you. i keep telling your dad we might need to bring another baby into this house just to give you some space from those two! they just love you so much!

i must admit you love your big sisters just as much as they love you. you copy just about everything lilly does these days and no one is cooler in your little eyes than ryan.

you are talking up a storm lately. we are even starting to hear some two-word sentences. your newest favorite is "mama watch!" it is very cute...it is also a phrase I hear 1,000 times a day so it's no wonder you picked it up so quickly.

you are also becoming quite the daredevil. whether it's your new favorite game of jumping off my bed into a pile of bean bags or jumping off the diving board at grandpa's...you aren't really scared to try anything.
