ever since she was a baby people have always said to me "she should be a model!" well a couple of months ago our big girl was just that! after receiving a note from a friend saying i had to enter ryan's photo on facebook (a local photographer was looking for a little girl with long hair ages 5-7 for a shoot) ryan was chosen and the stage was set for her very first photo shoot.

she couldn't have been more excited! the photographer (the amazing heather roth if you are in the stl area and are looking for a fabulous wedding or family photographer...she is just as sweet as she is talented!) asked that ryan come with very natural, unbrushed (best words ever to ryan) hair and pink nail polish. so of course we had to treat ourselves to a mani/pedi that morning. any excuse for a little pampering.

when we arrived heather applied some light make up and an adorable flower wreath to ryan's hair and off they went...into the woods to capture images like these.

she also got to work with the most adorable little boy named oliver. he was 6 and i think ryan had a little crush. she asked if he could come over for a playdate after the shoot was over. it's just my luck that his mom is a fabulous wedding florist here in town...that will come in handy at their wedding in 20 years. haha. i kid. i kid.
