weekend recap

and what a weekend it was! fall is officially upon us and while i would love to be sporting boots and sweaters i can't really complain about the gorgeous 75 degrees days we have been experiencing as of late.

*however, i just checked the forecast on my phone and it's saying 88 degrees the next few days. what the what? i am done with heat.

hey mother nature... it's october. get with it.*

anyway, back to our weekend. it was a busy one kicking off with our first official fall fest as st. gerard parishioners!

the girls had an absolute blast riding the rides and playing all the games.

i even got roped into volunteered to work an afternoon shift while dan took the girls home to nap/rest.

after naps they came back up to ride a few more rides pick me up. around 6:00 dan & i dropped them off for a sleepover with nene & dow and we headed downtown to the taste of St. louis. a band we used to listen to back on college was playing...it was a nice little date night.

sunday morning ali picked up the big girls and took them apple picking...then home for soccer games and early bedtimes.

all 3 were asleep by 7:45 and dan & i were on the edge of the couch glued to the series finale of breaking bad.

for those of you who don't watch the show...get netflix and watch it. seriously. go.

it's one of the best television series on tv.

period.

all in all it was a fantastic weekend.

(i apologize for the lack of posts...we are just in major school mode. nothing super interesting going on around here. october will pick up with my favorite holidays right around the corner!)
