uncle scotty

today my brother-in-law embarks on an incredible new adventure. for 2 1/2 months him and his girlfriend will be living a very simplistic lifestyle down in Peru. they will be working on a goat farm and living off the land.

what a life-changing experience this will be for them! it takes guts to do something like this. to live outside your comfort zone and experience life the way others do. i know scotty will love every minute there and come home filled with stories about all the wonderful people he met and all that he accomplished on the farm.

however, he couldn't leave without spending a little quality time with his favorite (ok, only) nieces...

(please, excuse lilly's unknown attempt at flipping us the finger. she wasn't happy that scotty had to leave. they weren't finished playing!)



oh yeah...and just look who chopped all his hair off! ryan is now officially 'winning' in that department.

we are going to miss Scotty but cannot wait to hear all the amazing stories when he comes back around Christmas.
