32 weeks

4:42 PM

i have not been great about the baby updates this go around. the truth of the matter is ever since i hit the 2nd trimester this pregnancy has been on fast forward.

here i am in the 3rd trimester...already! we are just under 2 months away from meeting this little one.

so crazy!

i have been feeling really good lately. no major complaints. i have been doing yoga at least twice a week for awhile now and i truly believe it has helped with every aspect of this pregnancy.

i have no major aches or pains, no huge carpal tunnel complaints this time and i am sleeping pretty well. i am also seeing minimal weight gain at my appointments recently. i was even down a pound at my last check up!! i know, i know...now i'm just bragging. usually i'm packing on the lbs at this stage...so just let me brag, ok?

the baby is moving...a lot. it likes to hang out on the right side of my belly so i feel a lot of (what I think are) knee or maybe elbow jabs right under my ribs. it's been pretty good to me at night...only moving around if i happen to wake up.

(which is mostly due to his/her big sister crawling her little body into our bed every. single. night. that's another blog post in itself.)

we do not have a thing set up for the baby. we have a room for it...and the crib is in this room...it's just in about 5 pieces. progress, right? i really have no idea what i want to do with the nursery. i would love for it to be all cutesy and fully decorated by the time my wonderful photographer comes over to do a newborn shoot (a week after the baby is home) but let's be honest here...we are talking about me. the queen of procrastination. i'll be lucky if the crib gets put together. dan is much better at keeping things moving in our house so if anything gets done...you can bet it's because of him.

we have not made any headway in the name department. we don't agree on any girl names...which makes me think this must be another girl. the boy name is a much easier discussion. meaning i am leaving it completely up to dan. he knows what i like and i trust he will give our son a great name.

i am having my 36 week ultrasound on april 21st so i will be sure to report back on all the important stats.

until then we'll continue to cruise right along.

i'm praying it actually feels like spring when this baby arrives!
