school days

i think it might be angels singing?
oh wait, it's just the sound of the kids going back to school!
hallelujah
don't get me wrong, summer was so so fun. however, just as the days were starting to seem a little longer and my patience was becoming nonexistent...visit days was upon us!
these two are so excited for 2nd and 1st grade.
the morning of their first day was a huge success. they both hopped out of bed at 6:45 ready to take on the day. no complaining about pictures, no yelling, no rushing. i wish every day was like the first day.

they did, however do a quick wardrobe change when we got in the car and they found the new socks we had bought at visit day. oh well, at least lilly wore the cute shoes for the official picture.
we had to stop by the stage to wish our favorite kindergartener good luck on her first day!

we survived the first week...that was definitely worthy of ice cream!
the following week this little chick had her visit day. she's starting at sgm preschool this year and she couldn't be more excited about it!!

it's going to be a great year for these three!!
