november happenings

5:50 PM

november was business as usual around here...with a lot of fun thrown in! we started the month with a day off school. a welcomed day after a looong halloween. ryan had a birthday party at the new flying spider, which is so so fun.

while she soared, we painted pottery.
this is easily one of my girls favorite activities.

we hit up the lodge one chilly weekend to blow off some energy.

i accompanied the fourth grade on their field trip.

we watched a lot of volleyball...

including this team win 3rd place in an end of season tournament. what a great team this was...the girls, the coaches, it really reminded me how much i love that sport!!
can't wait for next year.

annie had her first visit to dr dalin. she was a rockstar patient...and zero cavities for the other three. #boom

we had a couple after school cousin dates while the weather was still pretty mild.

ryan had her first holiday show with krupinski & co. she had a cute little solo...and nailed it. need to upload the video of that one.

the season officially kicked off with our walk through the lights at tilles.

before we knew it, thanksgiving was upon us.

we started the day off right with breakfast in bed while we watched the macy's parade.

we visited my dad's annual football game.

then it was time for dinner!
(good grief...this one is already stealing my shoes)

we always celebrate may's birthday thanksgiving night. this year was an early thanksgiving so may's birthday lasted a reeeaallly long time. she loved every second.

this one.

the saturday after thanksgiving we hosted all of may's friends at sweet & sassy. the quint essential birthday party for a 6 year old. the girls had an absolute blast.

gingerbread house decorating at bellerive. one of my favorite events they have. all the fun of gingerbread houses without the mess...and a great dinner to cap it all off!

annie was a big help while starting our christmas shopping.
(kidding...i bought everything on amazon)

we picked out beautiful christmas trees and decorated them while we watched the rockefeller tree special. our new tree tradition.

we definitely need a bigger needlepoint tree next year. it was overflowing this year...and we got even more ornaments!

this house was ready for december!
