zoo #2

things are really heating up in the lou. on tuesday bossy & i decided to brave the heat and take the kids to the zoo again. this was especially brave of us considering we don't have aunt nanny ali on tuesdays. 2 adults vs 4 kids...it's never good when we are really outnumbered!

"get me out of here!! mom, don't you know by now i do not like being strapped in when the big kids are running around!"


since pushing a double stroller can feel like pushing a train on a 90 degree day we opted to take a spin on it instead. lilly enjoyed waving at all the people we passed and ryan loved going through the tunnels.

once the heat really got to us...we headed inside to the zoomagination room. i know i've said it before, but this room is fabulous! the kids are able to roam on their own and play at all the fun (and educational) stations! it's a great way for us to take a load off and cool down too!

after a little picnic lunch outside the living world we packed up and called it a day. the girls fell asleep within minutes of being in the car and i was able to get home and take a nice cold shower! stl summer...here we are!
