so thankful

8:47 AM

my favorite time of the year is officially upon us. i can now listen to my christmas music loud and proud! (who are we kidding, i've been rocking out since halloween!) nothing makes me happier than the family filled months of november and december. i absolutely love the anticipation that christmas is right around the corner...and it all kicks off with thanksgiving!

this year i have so much to be thankful for. first and foremost for my hubby. he amazes me more and more everyday. he works so hard to make sure his girls have everything we could possibly want. he spoils us rotten and never complains when my crazy side reers it's ugly head! he is incredible with our girls. he is the kind of father i always dreamed my children would have. the girls and i are so lucky to have him taking care of us and for that i am forever thankful. love you danny boy!

and then there are these two. how could you not be thankful for these adorable little turkeys? i am so very thankful for my babies. they are the absolute light of my life. i am so thankful they call me mommy and that i will get to watch them grow up. they are two beautiful little girls and they make their mommy and daddy so proud everyday.

and of course i am thankful for the fabulous people i call my family. they made the first thanksgiving in our new house one we will never forget. it was an amazing night filled with wonderful food and a house full of laughter. i am so thankful that each and every one of them is healthy and could be with us to celebrate and for those who no longer are...that they are forever in our hearts.

i love this picture of my grandpa and dan's grandpa. we are so lucky our families get along so well!

dan gave a wonderful toast thanking everyone for sharing in such a special day and giving a special shout out to mj and nana for all their hard work. if it wasn't for them the house never would've been ready!

followed by a wonderful prayer given by the patriarch of our family

then it was time to dig in!!!

ryan says "happy thanksgiving to all!" (wish it wasn't so blurry)

all in all it was one fabulous holiday. we hope you all had as much fun as we did! I'll leave you with a toast from my pop:
"may your troubles be less, may your treasures be more and may nothing but happiness be always at your door!"
