don't mess with texas!
2:17 PMthis past weekend the entire hauck family traveled down south for a fabulous wedding, texas style! most of the fam got down there on thursday and made a little mini vacation out of it. we, on the other hand flew down saturday morning and back sunday afternoon. a short trip but we packed in a lot of fun! the girls love when they get to fly with grandpa!
ryan took full advantage of using her bink so her ears wouldn't pop. any excuse to suck on her beloved during the day.
once we got settled in our "condo" we headed down to meet the rest of the gang for some lunch before naps. the girls were excited to see their buddy trip! for those of you who haven't seen trip in awhile...these two are only 2 days apart...and lilly is older. bet you never would've guessed that huh? i think lil is destined to be a peanut...why didn't we think of that costume for halloween?!?
it was a tag team effort once the wedding festivities began. dan stayed home with the girls while they napped so john, elaine and myself could go to the ceremony, we all met back at the hotel pool to let the girls splash around in their diapers until the cocktail hour began. i took this shift and got my girls all settled in for a fun night with dottie. when elaine came back to take over for the reception the girls were eating their room service dinner and getting ready to watch toy story 3. ryan was in heaven!! from there i headed down to the reception. what a setting! waterfalls, exotic birds, a putt putt course...this place had it all! everything was outside and it could not have been a more beautiful night. we ate, we drank, we danced...it's always a good time when all the hauck's are in one place!

stealing some pics with the groom
for those of you who don't know, my dad and dan's uncle steve (father of the groom) have been good friends since their days at chaminade. so the hauck's and the sciales' were connected way before dan & i.
let the dancing begin...
erin singing her amazing rendition of "at last." so proud to say this tradition started at our wedding!
taking a little break from the dance floor. us mid-westerners weren't quite used to all the country music :)
and back for one last spin on the dance floor...
it was a fabulous night for a wonderful couple. congratulations chris and brittnay. we wish you nothing but happiness in your new life together!
