breakfast with santa

on saturday we hit up our first breakfast with santa of the season...at none other than good ol' ursuline academy. ryan was very excited to see "mommy's school!" she talked the entire morning about how she was going to sit on santa's lap and finally tell him she wanted a big jessie doll. (round one with santa did not go over too well when my mom & dad took them. she kept telling my mom "next time i'll sit on his lap") i had a feeling she was all talk again...but i tried to stay optimistic.

we started off with a little "face" painting...

ellie was the first brave soul to venture toward the big guy. she really liked him...50 feet away!

then we headed over to make some reindeer food. where our molly sweeney met another molly sweeney! how funny is that?

next we decorated some ornaments...

did a little cookie walkin'...

decorated some cookies, aka eat all the toppings...

and finally headed over to give santa a whirl...

as suspected...ry totally chickened out. brendan, on the other hand parked it on santa's lap for a good 15 minutes! such a brave boy :)

we ended the morning with a group shot by the ua-themed christmas trees. it was a great morning. i'm already looking forward to the ua easter egg hunt!!
