college girl

still missing my usb cord...anyone seen it?

last night we had a little au revoir dinner over here for aunt mary. can you believe she is leaving today for college?!? i am honestly not sure how this happened. when dan & i started dated she was only 7 years old and now she is en route to denver with the next 4 years at regis university ahead of her! does that last statement make me old? you would think the fact that i am going to be 31 this year or that i am about to have 3 kids would make me feel old...but in actuality it's events like this that really hit me. it really feels like yesterday that i started dating dan and that little baby sister of his did not like the fact that i was spending so much time with her brother...and boy she let me know it. thankfully she grew out of that phase pretty fast when she realized i wasn't going anywhere! she has grown up to be such a beautiful young lady, inside & out and one that my girls absolutely adore.

now she is a high school graduate, heading off into the some of the best years of her life. we are so happy for her and cannot wait to visit her. good luck auntie mary!!!
