july 23rd

back, back we go...to july 23rd. (i promise i will be back to present time very soon. bare with me) i could not let another day go by without wishing my fabulous, beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, mother-in-law a very belated happy birthday! (i am hoping the extra adjectives up there, although they fit her, give me a little boost for being so late with these bday blog wishes!)

now, as far as mother-in-law's go...i have the cream of the crop. i have heard the horror stories..."mil's from hell" or "monster-in-laws." i thank my lucky stars everyday that i don't have to deal with that. my mil is the furthest thing from a "monster." she is loving. she is kind. she is thoughtful. she is generous. so very, very generous. especially when it comes to shopping...the woman loves to shop! my sis & friends love to come "shopping" in my closet after one of our infamous sprees! she has one of the biggest hearts of anyone i know and hey...she gave birth to and raised the love of my life. what more can you say?!? oh yeah, did i mention she owns an ice cream shop and a house in destin? add that to the ever-expanding best mil ever list!
